Adults

As an adult, you have earned Book Bucks worth $1.00 each to be redeemed at the Friends of Handley Regional Library Used Book Sale during the Fall of 2016. Stop by a library branch to receive your Book Bucks. 

Activities and events provide an opportunity to learn about library services. You are encouraged to take advantage of all the services our library and community offers.

Summer has been the perfect time to read; and the Valley Reads Summer Reading Program at Handley Regional Library was the place to do it. We had a rewarding summer where readers were rewarded while experiencing fun and educational programming!

We started registrations Saturday, April 23. Participants could start recording summer reading activities on Saturday, May 21. Wednesday, August 10 was the last day for logging entries. 

Prizes will be awarded at the Summer Reading Finale on Saturday, August 13 beginning at 3:30 p.m. at the Taylor Pavillion in downtown Winchester. 

Fun & Events: The Valley Reads brochure was full of fun, interactive and educational events and activities taking place at library locations throughout the summer. 

Mark your calendars now to attend the Valley Reads Finale held in downtown Winchester at the Taylor Pavillion on Saturday, August 13 at 3:30 p.m.

Earn Badges:  Attend programs and participate in activities to earn badges and points.  Some badges require a special code. 

Prizes: If you have registered and entered your name in a drawing you may be a winner of one of the fantastic prize gift bags. Be a top participant and you may win a grand prize. You must have logged your reading and entered your secret codes by midnight, August 10. Winners will be called. Grand prizes will be awarded at the Finale.
